Escape Games is a family-owned business with 10 years of experience building escape rooms. With three locations and 11 different rooms, we are one of Denmark's most experienced escape room teams – and we are proud to finally welcome you in the heart of Aalborg.
All our rooms are designed and built by us. This also means we can stand behind what we promise:
• Everything must work. Puzzles, locks and technology are thoroughly tested – nothing is more frustrating than a mission that doesn't work for the wrong reasons. • Everything must look good. Our rooms and props are maintained so they don't look worn. • No recycled puzzles. If you've tried one of our rooms, you will never encounter the same puzzle again in another room in the same location. • Everyone experiences the ending. Our game masters ensure that your team reaches the goal – or at least sees the end of the story. No one goes home disappointed.
How to find us
You can find us at Østerågade 25, 9000 Aalborg – in the city center, just a few minutes walk from Nytorv and the harbor.
By car: Street parking in the city center is limited, so we recommend one of the parking garages in the center. Friis Parking House has over 850 spaces and is just a few minutes walk from us. Sallings Parking is even closer.
By train and bus: From Aalborg Station it's about 15 minutes walk through the pedestrian streets – or take a city bus towards Nytorv and walk the last few minutes.
Our first room: Pact of the Four Captains
Four pirate captains once made a pact – and left behind a cursed treasure. Now it's your turn to break the curse before time runs out.
The room is designed for 2–6 players and offers 60 minutes of varied challenges: logic, teamwork, dexterity and a few surprises we won't reveal here. The difficulty level is 8/10, but don't worry – our game master will guide you along the way and ensure that both beginners and experienced teams have a great experience and reach the story's end.
More missions are coming! Aalborg is our newest location – and we're already working on our next rooms. Like our other locations, each mission is its own universe with brand new puzzles.
Frequently asked questions
How much time should we allow? ▼
The mission itself lasts 60 minutes. With introduction beforehand and debriefing afterward, you should expect about 80 minutes total. Please arrive 10 minutes before your booking.
Do we need to book in advance? ▼
Yes, book online – it takes less than 2 minutes. If you have questions first, you can always call 71 99 37 00.
Can children participate? ▼
Yes! Escape rooms are an experience for the whole family. Children participate with adults, and our game master adapts guidance along the way.
What if we are more than 6 people? ▼
The room is designed for 2–6 players. If you're more, contact us – we'll find a solution, such as dividing you into teams.
Is it too difficult for beginners? ▼
No. The difficulty level is 8/10, but our game master will guide you all the way and give hints when you need them. Our goal is for all teams to reach the end – regardless of experience.
